| Amplifier Warranty RF Concepts, LLC WARRANTS TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER EACH NEW AMATEUR RADIO AMPLIFIER OF ITS MANUFACTURE: - Workmanship and all components except RF power tubes are warranted for FOUR YEARS from date of original purchase if the amplifier is used exclusively in licensed amateur radio service. The Warranty is VOIDED by illegal sale or use of equipment (e.g. U.S. sale of export models).
- Tubes are warranted for ONE YEAR from date of original purchase of the amplifier or tube by itself. Installation and use of power tubes not authorized by RF Concepts/Alpha Amplifier will render any and all remaining Warranty NULL AND VOID.
- The Warranty does not apply to repair of damage resulting from neglect, physical damage, misuse, abuse, power surges (generated by lightning strikes, defective power supply, or otherwise) or improper installation, nor to units not operated in accordance with specifications and instructions furnished by RF Concepts/Alpha Amplifiers. The Warranty will be considered NULL AND VOID if the unit is repaired or altered with parts or by persons not authorized by RF Concepts, or in cases where the serial number has been removed, altered, or defaced.
- If a malfunction is suspected, before attempting repairs or returning equipment to RF Concepts for service, the owner must contact the RF Concepts factory service department and provide model and serial number plus details of equipment hookup, accessory equipment used, operating conditions, and abnormalities observed. Failure to do so may result in VOIDING the remaining Warranty. RF Concepts will furnish a new part in exchange for any covered defective part or, if it is determined that factory service is required, will authorize return to factory. Equipment authorized for return shall be shipped to RF Concepts fully prepaid and insured, USING ONLY FACTORY APPROVED PACKING; REMOVE POWER TRANSFORMER BEFORE SHIPPING ANY UNIT WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY SHIPPED FROM THE FACTORY WITH TRANSFORMER REMOVED! Shipping charges, to and from the factory are the responsibility of the owner.
- This Warranty expires and is VOID upon transfer of the amplifier to a subsequent owner. A subsequent owner may reactivate the Warranty for the remaining life thereof from the date of original purchase by registering ownership with, and paying a transfer fee of US$50.00 to RF Concepts/Alpha Amplifiers within thirty days from purchase of the amplifier. Instructions for registration are available at www.rfconcepts.com or by telephoning 303-473-9232. "No charge" Extended tube warranties are not transferrable.
- Registered owners will be informed of any required factory maintenance deemed necessary by RF Concepts. Affected units must be returned to the factory for service within ONE-YEAR after issuance of the required factory maintenance notice. Service, modification and upgrade charges for affected units will be the responsibility of the owner if the unit is not returned the factory within ONE-YEAR after the issuance of the required factory maintenance notice. In the event of required factory maintenance shipping charges to the factory are the responsibility of the owner. During the warranty period, it is the customers responsibility to cause to deliver the product to be repaired, to RF Concepts/Alpha Amplifiers' repair location. It is RF Concepts/Alpha Amplifiers' responsibility to repair the product and return the original product to the customer.
In the absence of an RF Concepts sales receipt the term of the Warranty will be from the unit’s construction date.No person is authorized to assume for RF Concepts any liability in connection with our products, other than as set forth in this Warranty. RF Concepts reserves the right to change its products as it deems desirable, without any obligation to make such changes available for previously manufactured products.WE MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE REGARDING THE PRODUCTS SOLD TO PURCHASER. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS OR FOR SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. UNDER PROVISIONS OF THE FEDERAL MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY ACT, THIS WARRANTY POLICY IS CLASSIFIED AS A LIMITED WARRANTY. |
